A furious mum has required to social networks to call out a designer who left her daughter in tears just hours prior to prom.
Thought about a milestone between childhood and their adult years, prom is that one special night where teens don extravagant dress, tuxedos and pose awkwardly for pictures they want to treasure for a life time.
But one lady was left ravaged after being offered a totally unwearable and ill-fitting tailor-made dress.
Taking to Facebook, Dee Lewis, an aesthetician from Rochester, New York, required to Facebook to share pictures of her daughter, Malexa Maeweather, beside a fierce caption that publicly bashed the designer.
'" So (the designer) called my daughter the night prior to prom to choose up her dress, which she charges $300 for," composed Lewis in part.
" R u major. Was I wrong for desiring my deposit back?"
The images which have because been shared more than 3,000 times show the teenage woman using a white, long-sleeved gown constructed of entirely sheer product and weird fluffy trims that barely cover her modesty.
" My daughter was devastated and sobbing when she saw this dress," Lewis told Yahoo Style.
According to her mother, Maeweather had actually originally seen a gown she loved on Instagram but after selling-out, she chose to retain the services of designer.
" For a $100 deposit, (the designer) informed my child that she would make her something good with material she already owned which she desired to "play around with the style," Lewis added.
" Malexa didn't understand anything about what the dress would appear like."
Sadly, when the teen tried out the gown on the day of prom, the result left her in tears. In spite of this they were not able to get a refund.
"She didn't use any compensation as an expert courtesy," states Lewis.
Thankfully however, a pal concerned the Maeweather's rescue be lending her a dress used the previous year-- and she looked stunning.
